Come and help celebrate the day when the bill creating Oregon Badlands Wilderness was signed, March 30th, 2009.
The celebration will be held at Silver Moon Brewery, creators of Badlands Bitter Ale, one of their signature microbrews. "The Quons" will play for the celebration and there will be door prizes, among them five free Oregon Natural Desert Association memberships to be given, Oregon Badlands Wilderness Posters, $2.50 ales, $10 pitchers, and copies of Jim Witty's book, "Meet me in the Badlands". Complimentary growlers of Badlands Bitter will be handed out when the Oregon Badlands Wilderness Bill Bell is rung!. The 8 minute documentary "Song of the Badlands" will be shown.
The celebration will start at 3.00 pm, going to 6.00 pm.
