Photos from Robinson Creek Restoration October 24-26th
A fine finish to another season of hard work out in the wilds of eastern Oregon! The 13 of us helped Rick Hayes plant about 700 cottonwood trees, and 100 willows in Robinson and Pine Creeks. Although the creek was nearly dried up we saw fish 2 miles up the drainage in little isolated pools. We also saw evidence that our previous plantings plantings were taking hold and growing! Soon those fish will have more of the shade they need! And less of the erosion they don't!
Thanks everyone for a great season, and a great last trip of the season see you all next Spring!
