Help us prepare the Alder Springs area to weather the busy hiking season!

Volunteers will help with trail maintenance using shovels and other trail tools, clearing fast-growing brush that is encroaching on the trail with loppers and handsaws, campsite clean-up, removing noxious weeds, and other necessary maintenance activities.

Trip highlights include hiking with incredibly scenic views, opportunities for off-trail exploration and terrific fishing.

Challenges include a mandatory crossing of Whychus Creek carrying packs and tools and the possibility of rattlesnakes and other wildlife encounters.
