Ask an Expert, “How can we save sage grouse?”
August 21 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Do you have burning questions about public lands that you’d rather ask a knowledgeable individual than Google? Curious about how to capture the magic of desert landscapes, why Oregon Natural Desert Association litigates to protect wildlife habitat, or how to be the most effective advocate for places you love?
Bring your toughest questions and dig in deeper with our team of experts at ONDA’s Ask an Expert happy hour series! Since challenging conversations are best held over a beer (or cider or kombucha) and alongside other curious minds, we’ll take over Base Camp Brewing Company’s patio for these open-ended dialogues.
Grow your knowledge base, exchange ideas and check out your options for getting more involved with ONDA and Oregon conservation work at these events this summer.
Ask an Expert, “How can we save sage grouse?” with ONDA Senior Attorney, Mac Lacy.
Mac became ONDA’s staff attorney in 2001, after serving as student law clerk starting in 1999. Mac’s cases focus on wilderness, grazing, travel planning, imperiled species, and energy development issues on eastern Oregon’s public lands. Mac received his Juris Doctor at Lewis and Clark Law School, graduating cum laude and with a certificate in environmental and natural resources law.
This event is free, open to the public, and no registration is required. Grab a friend and join ONDA for a casual, yet informative evening. Check out other events in this series: Ask an Expert, “Where do conservation and creativity meet?”, and Ask an Expert, “What’s up with the Owyhee?“.
