Ask an Expert, “Where do conservation and creativity meet?”
July 24 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Do you have burning questions about public lands that you’d rather ask a knowledgeable individual than Google? Curious about how to capture the magic of desert landscapes, why Oregon Natural Desert Association litigates to protect wildlife habitat, or how to be the most effective advocate for places you love?
Bring your toughest questions and dig in deeper with our team of experts at ONDA’s Ask an Expert happy hour series! Since challenging conversations are best held over a beer (or cider or kombucha) and alongside other curious minds, we’ll take over Base Camp Brewing Company’s patio for these open-ended dialogues.
Grow your knowledge base, exchange ideas and check out your options for getting more involved with ONDA and Oregon conservation work at these events this summer.
Ask an Expert, “Where do conservation and creativity meet?” with Sage Brown.
Sage is a Portland, Oregon based artist and photographer whose work explores notions of culture, place, identity and the human relationship to the natural world. He has a BFA in graphic design from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has spent the past 10 years working as an interactive designer and art director. Trail running, fly fishing, and cooking help maintain his sanity.
This event is free, open to the public, and no registration is required. Grab a friend and join ONDA for a casual, yet informative evening. Check out other events in this series: Ask an Expert, “How can we save sage grouse?”, and Ask an Expert, “What’s up with the Owyhee?“.
