Badlands Fence and Trail Work Day #1

November 7 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

In partnership with the Prineville District of the Bureau of Land Management, ONDA will lead severaldays of trail work and fence removal at Reynolds Pond and the Badlands Wilderness to support the construction of an accessible trail and improve the area for human visitors and native wildlife inhabitants.

Through this work, volunteers will improve the accessibility of the Reynolds Pond trail and receive an introduction to ONDA’s broader stewardship and conservation efforts. Single-day experiences like this one are designed to introduce people to ONDA’s restoration program and inspire a deeper connection to Oregon’s high desert.

Challenges will include variable weather and physical work. No previous experience is needed to attend. All that is required is a love of the high desert, a big smile and a willingness to learn.
