A Conversation with Warm Springs Tribal Elder Bruce Jim

March 27 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Our High Desert Speaker Series continues with Warm Springs Tribal Elder Bruce Jim presenting on the history of the Warm Springs Tribe and their traditional land use in Oregon’s high desert. From important history and legends of his people to a discussion of ceded lands and treaty rights to restoration projects happening on tribal land today, Bruce’s talk will stitch past to present. Learn how Warm Springs tribal members are stewards of the land, fish, and wildlife across Oregon’s high desert and how ONDA collaborates with the Confederated Tribe of the Warm Springs on restoration work.
