Join ONDA’s executive director Ryan Houston for this live-streaming question and answer session. Ryan will provide updates on top conservation priorities across Oregon’s high desert and share information about how you can get involved with our work this year with opportunities from advocating to volunteering. Ryan Houston has served as ONDA’s executive director role since 2018, bringing his perspective from 20 years of experience in the conservation sector.
Prior to his career at ONDA, Ryan served as the executive director of the Upper Deschutes Watershed Council, where he developed a reputation as a committed and effective leader in Oregon conservation and became known for his strategic vision and a dedication to collaboration. He has taught courses at the university level, worked as a research fellow with the Smithsonian Institution and led several ecological research projects. He earned his undergraduate degree in environmental science from the University of California at Berkeley and his masters in ecology from the University of Arizona.
