Notes From The Field

April 23, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

For our final installment of our 2018 High Desert Speaker Series, join ONDA stewardship staff Ben Gordon and Michael O’Casey and photographer Sage Brown for a live edition of “Notes From The Field,” featuring images and stories about the places, people, and impact of restoration across Oregon’s high desert.

Have you ever wanted to explore a new landscape while giving back? ONDA’s stewardship program does just that! Learn more about the community that is built through these trips to Oregon’s most stunning wild lands and leave inspired for your next trip east!

About the speakers

Ben Gordon joined ONDA in 2012 to serve as our John Day Basin Program Coordinator. He assumed the additional role of Stewardship Director in 2015 and enjoys blending his love for the high desert with his passion for the permanent protection and stewardship of its most wild places.

Michael O’Casey joined ONDA in 2012. As the wilderness stewardship coordinator, he is fortunate to work with great volunteers in many of Oregon’s best kept secrets, helping to protect and restore these landscapes.

Sage Brown is a Portland-based photographer whose work explores notions of culture, place, and identity. He has a BFA in graphic design from Virginia Commonwealth University and has spent the past 10 years working as an interactive designer and art director.
