Beth Macinko came on board as stewardship coordinator just in time for the 2020 field season. She’s responsible for leading ONDA’s uplands restoration trips in the Oregon Badlands, John Day Fossil Beds, Malheur National Wildlife Refuge among other wildly scenic locales. She also joins our tribal stewards crew at each of the culturally significant sites they are working in.
Beth joined her first stewardship trip in 2008, as a member of a youth corps trail crew cutting tread on the Continental Divide Trail. She worked on trails around the country before settling in Leavenworth, Washington. From that idyllic base camp on the east side of the Cascade Range, she made her way to Washington Trails Association, first as a volunteer and then as a staff member.
She loves exploring the trails and rivers of Central Oregon.
