Born and raised in Vermont, Caelin grew up with a strong connection to the land around her. While attending Colby College in central Maine, she began to focus her academic and professional work on environmental conservation and community engagement. After a trip to central Oregon, she realized she wanted to pursue her passion for protecting wildlands and wildlife in Oregon’s high desert.
With a background in nonprofit outreach and ecological research, she explored many elements of environmental advocacy that would allow her to engage with people and places around her. Caelin came to ONDA in 2018 as a member of the development team. She appreciates connecting with communities through her conservation work.
She enjoys finding new ways to appreciate all of the activities and wild places of the high desert. Whether backpacking, snowboarding or anything in between, she looks forward to discovering all that this area has to offer.
