Membership and Engagement Coordinator
(541) 330-2638, ext. 302
Hana joined ONDA in 2019 as our Membership and Engagement Coordinator. Her role is to engage current ONDA members and cultivate further support for our work by connecting our community to the importance of Oregon desert conservation and deepening their engagement with our work.
Hana grew up in Bend and spent her childhood exploring and falling in love with Oregon’s high desert and rural communities. An interest in social science and community work led her to earning a bachelor’s degree in sociology at Willamette University in Salem and pursuing a career in the non-profit sector. Prior to joining ONDA, Hana spent a year as an AmeriCorps member followed by 8 years working with non-profit organizations in Colorado, Washington and Oregon in a variety of roles including public engagement, program and project management, fundraising and development, volunteer management, community outreach and event management.
When she isn’t out exploring the many natural wonders of Oregon, Hana can be found curled up with a good book, making music, cooking, gardening and spending time with her friends and family.
