Bio :

A native Oregonian, Corie’s lifelong passion for ensuring our state’s environment is a healthy, diverse place for current and future generations brought her to ONDA in 2012. Corie focuses on building and strengthening relationships with community members, landowners, elected leaders, volunteers and advocates who make the preservation of wild places, like the spectacular Owyhee Canyonlands, possible. Growing up in rural Oregon gives Corie a unique, balanced perspective on the complex issues related to natural resource and public lands management.

Since graduating from the University of Oregon, she has applied her background in environmental science, business, and communications to conduct international and statewide restoration work, improve wildlife habitat and water quality in urban areas, and manage environmental and political campaigns.

She also loves spending time with her twin daughters, husband, family and friends and exploring the rugged beauty of Oregon.
