Bob DenOuden

Vice-President

Bio :

Bob is a native Oregonian who grew up in Eugene, where he earned undergraduate degrees in math and geography at the University of Oregon. It was in those undergrad years that he developed an intense love of the Oregon high desert, escaping the wet side of the state as often as possible to explore the beautiful country east of the Cascades.

After several years working in the software industry in Seattle, he completed a graduate degree in geography at the University of Idaho and soon returned to Eugene with his wife and son. Bob has over 20 years of experience applying geographic information system (GIS) technology in the planning and utility fields and currently works for the City of Bend in its long-range planning department. He is a longtime ONDA member and loves spending time and sharing stories with other Oregon desert aficionados.
