Make Your Voice Heard For Public Lands

Each day Oregon’s elected leaders and the appointed officials who head land management agencies make decisions about how our lands are managed. They need to hear your voice on these important issues.

Our advice for connecting with these decision-makers:

Make it relevant and personal—remind them that you’re a constituent and tell them why public lands are important to important to you personally and to other people in their district or state.

Don’t forget the ask—your request can be general, like “please stand up for public lands and make sure they stay in public hands,” or better yet, refer to a specific bill or issue you’re concerned about.
