Beech Creek Riparian Planting

October 23, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - October 26, 2022 @ 10:00 am

Our volunteers love the instant gratification of riparian plantings. This planting effort is particularly exciting because it will be done in partnership with the Burns Paiute Tribe to improve native fish habitat on Beech Creek which flows into the John Day River.

Work will involve planting native species such as elderberry, golden currant, and chokecherry along the banks of Beech Creek.

Volunteers will enjoy exploring an incredible property owned by the Burns Paiute Tribe and managed as wildlife habitat.
