Pine Creek Conservation Area Spring Restoration (October)

This project will support watershed-wide restoration efforts at Pine Creek Conservation Area, a property owned and managed by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. On this trip, volunteers will be planting willows along small streams using mallets to pound metal spikes into the soil to create a hole, then place plant cuttings, or stakes, into the hole.
