Research Areas on 22,000 Acres of Public Lands Essential to Science-based Management of Sage-grouse Habitat.
May 5, 2025 – A network of scientific research areas will be preserved in sage-grouse habitat on public lands in eastern Oregon after a federal court found that Oregon Natural Desert Association is likely to win its lawsuit challenging the federal government’s rollback of a key component of the largest conservation plan in the nation’s history.
