Bio:
Hana joined ONDA in 2019. As our development manager, her role is to cultivate further support for ONDA by connecting our community to the importance of Oregon desert conservation while deepening their engagement with our work.
Hana grew up in Bend and spent her childhood exploring and falling in love with Oregon’s high desert and rural communities. An interest in social science and community work led her to earning a bachelor’s degree in sociology at Willamette University in Salem and pursuing a career in the non-profit sector. Prior to joining ONDA, Hana spent a decade working with non-profit organizations in Colorado, Washington and Oregon in a variety of roles including public engagement, program and project management, fundraising and development, volunteer management, community outreach and event management.
When she isn’t out exploring the many natural wonders of eastern Oregon, Hana can be found making music, experimenting in the kitchen, attempting to garden in the high desert, and spending time with her family and friends.
